Can someone explain how the floor drains are set up, are they attached to a hose or are they completely open and just empty into the bulge? My boat is a 2017 Walleye boat but I would think all Triton drains are basically the same. I took my covers off to check the drains and they look like there is styrofoam or some kind of flotation in the drains. Thanks.
I believe they drain into the hull, and the foam perhaps should have been drilled out with the hole in the floor.
Do not quote me on this, but I believe I'm right.
My older Toon actually had carpet covering the drain holes under the metal plates, and I simply modified them to drain properly.
