    Terrova transducer instal

Look for info on how to run the wiring so that it doesn't get twisted up and break during operation and or spot lock. Leaning towards running it you that groove with silicon. Curious what others have done.

If you want to go in another direction.

I still prefer the first one, less cost, and works better.

Is there an installation video? Also, how would this work if you dont run with the shaft extended all the way?

It's pretty simple to do. Just buy a rod sock and loop it around where it shows you on this video. Tie strap both ends and leave it loose enough for the movement of the bottom part to go around.
If you look at this video, it pretty much explains everything. I did it when I had my Terrova and it worked great. I never had one problem with it getting caught.
If you do not run the shaft all the way down, it really would not matter, you will have 6 or 7 loops on the shaft.

You might have a total cost of $5 in this setup.

I have done the same thing to mine as in this video. No problems at all.
