Skeeter FX21 with Ghost Trolling Motor

Is anyone out there running a Skeeter FX with the Lowrance Ghost on it? Looking to replace my trolling motor but don't know if the 47" long shaft will be long enough. Any impute and/or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

You might consider an Ultrex and save a grand in the process. Unless of course you have your mind set on the Ghost. I would think the 47 would be good. I run a 52 on my 200ZX do to it blowing out at times when the wake boats are in play.

The Ghost is not a grand more than Ultrex, I got mine for almost same price out the door with shipping.

Is anyone having any issues with it blowing out in rough water because is is only 47" long and not 52"?

I'd recommend the 52" ghost. I still get some blowout with the 52 in rough water especially in anchor mode fishing from the back of the boat. I do not have an fx21 though

Of course you can! I was exaggerating slightly. I did the same with my Ultrex at $1776.00 delivered. We can’t compare list prices to what we actually pay for these things. Ultrex is still a lot cheaper no matter how you buy it.
