Why is he so disliked among PGA pros? I’ve only heard second hand “rumors” of claims against him.

Attitude, cockiness, whatever you want to call it.
He came out pretty early in his career and said he was as good as Tiger which caused some rumble.
Lately it is questions regarding improving his lies prior to hitting the ball.
Once in Tiger’s tournament by pressing down the sand behind his ball on multiple practice swings. He was penalized for doing so but not DG’d I think.
Others claim he has repeatedly placed his club behind the ball in the rough until the rough was no longer in the way.

Others say he is just a tough gritty golfer who will run over anyone and isn’t out to make friends. He would probably say that.

The guy hasn't spoken to his parents or sister in 8 years, his kids haven't even met em. Multiple accusations of cheating. It's not just PGA guys either. Take a look at his twitter.

The guy has a problem with the rules. Going back to his college days. Plain and simple. Lots of cocky pros, but the cheating sets him apart from the rest of them.

he has made amends with his Family !!! and its kind of funny how people say he has multiple accusations on cheating !!! how people forget about the illegal drop that Tiger Woods made in the 2013 Masters caused him 2 strokes , when it should have disqualified him from the Tournament !!! PGA made exceptions for Tiger , and nobody not one announcer said a word nor did another Pro !!! then in the same year in 2 different tournament he again made illegal drops and penalized strokes , you don't hear those either do you !!! wonder why !!! one thing you can say about Patrick Reed he hasn't cheated on his wife , and he ain't had his arse whipped with a 3 iron by his wife !!! and he is playing good golf !!!!
