    2006 Triton Tr-196 battery charger...

    The charger in my 2006 Tr-196 Triton is bad. I am going to replace it with a MinnKota charger but I am having a hard time getting the Triton charger out. I've looked all over for screws that might have it held down and can't find any. Any ideas?

    Normally there are only four bolts or screws top and bottom there Pictures would help

    If it's a stock charger like mine from 2005 it's screwed in. Mine had metal edges and had mostly rusted away.

    Ditto on my 98. The screws were rusted and broke off when I went to remove them. If it's like my factory charger, there are 4 screws on the outside corners similar to where they will be on the Minnkota. It was a little tricky getting to all of them.......
