    Considering an 02 tr21

I'm considering a 2002 tr21 with a freshly rebuilt mercury 225 recently rebuilt. I have been in tritons and driven a tr21. I like the ride. What can any of you tell me pros and cons?

Great boat and hull. A lot of deck space. I have the Yamaha so wouldn’t have an opinion on the merc

I have an 03 tr21 and love it!!! Keep it clean and polished and you'd never guess it was that old. I have a yamaha as well, but if its in good shape you will love it. Storage and livewells are great. That was my biggest thing. The storage lay out.

That is when they were really fast hulls. Fun to drive too!! I liked the early and mid 2000's Tritons.

I have a 04 tr21x. Big deck, smooth-DRY ride. I have had many "newer" boats but went back to a earlier triton. You wont be disappointed.

I have an 04 tr21. Fun to drive once you learn how. I think the front deck is small compared to other boats I've had.

I was a coangler out of an 04 21hp with a 250 optimax 2 months ago and that baby was a Cadillac! The boat looked much newer than its age, very well taken care of! I had no idea it was that old, and never considered it during the day driving around. It rode great and the guy I was fishing with wasn’t exactly a great driver. Incredibly dry ride.
