Took out my new to 18 521L. It has a recessed mount 12" HDS. With the trolling motor down the Ultrex wires coming out of the head cross right in front of the screen. Will a raised mount like what prescision sonar sells fix this issue. The one I'm looking at replaces the plate and the raised mount attaches to it. I thinking it will but want confirmation from someone. Help
I don't have a 520L, I do have an Ultrex on the front of my RT188. My front depth finder is on a Dek It. The trolling motor cord wraps around the mount. Sometimes it'll hit the trim button. It is not in the way of viewing when the TM is down.
you can unscrew the pedal and twist it one turn either way to get it to move. I used a bungy to hold mine where i wanted it for a couple days in the sun. After that it kinda formed to that position
