My buddy is getting ready to pull the trigger on a new Ranger 519, It has the 3.6 Mercury.
How will it perform compared to the 4.6 Pro XS?
Speed, Performance, Fuel consumption, etc...

If he is saving 5k of the regular price over a pro then pull the trigger. resale will suffer but if he is in for much cheaper it will be a non factor. As far apple to apple comparison that would be so tough to answer. can't imaging not to many people would have 3.4 to 4.6 found power different and fuel savings.
