Replace a power pole bracket for

How should you disconnect the hydraulic line when replacing the bracket. When disconnecting the line will you loose fluid and will air get into the line when you disconnect?

    To disconnect lines

lower power pole down with remote. Manually push the pole closed. This will take a little effort. This will engage bypass valve and relief psi on lines. You will have very minimal fluid loss if any. Do not move pole up and down while lies are loose or else you will squirt fluid.

To purge air install lines. Operate pole up and down via remote a handful of times. When pole comes up continue to hold remote button. Then lower pole to ground and continue to hold button. Repeat a few times.

Then when you head to the water find deep water so that you can fully extent the cylinder. repeat up and down.

    Done

Spot on advice from rRich, hold the button for about 10 seconds after fully deployed or fully retracted.
