Keep in mind you have your Active Track, then potentially Saved Tracks (if you have saved any for permanent use). With your Active Track, go to Chart Menu, wpts and tracks, active tracks, active track options, record mode, set it to Off. This is from an Ultra menu, but it should be similar to your Plus unit. You can also completely clear your Active Track from this menu.
