New toy on the RT 188

Just added an Elite 9 TI (with C-Map) w/ Bass Boat Technologies mount. That mount is one very nice and solid mounting system.

I can’t tell how much clearance you have in the steering wheel from that shot. They make a steering wheel spacer if you need one. If I were going to take the wheel off I’d go ahead and replace with a non directional. That directional wheel may bother you when you upgrade to hydraulic steering. Congrats on the new electronics!

Not sure what u mean by non directional but yes I put the 2 inch spacer in. There is plenty of room.

The wheel spokes are symmetrical vs the way your current steering wheel has all three spokes on the bottom. The steering wheel doesn't stay in the same place with hydraulic steering. Another words, those spokes may be upside down, or somewhere on the sides instead of centered on the bottom.
