    Fury 4 on Mercury 250 v8

Anyone running this setup? Currently finishing up break-in in new motor with 25p 3 blade fury. Performance is good and can turn close to 5900 rpm but the boat has no lift at all until 55+ mph? Water pressure is 30+psi. Looking for some direction. Thanks in advance.

    What model rig?
It seems the 24 Fury 3 is the standard prop coming with the 250 V8 on the Cats.

Unfortunately, the symptoms you describe are inherent with running a three blade Fury. Have never ran a Fury 4 , but i just had a Tempest built for my Puma with a 250 v-8. I am sure it will lift sooner at lower rpms. BCB can help with an answer i am sure

Having it worked by Ronnie Gilbert would likely help.

We prefer to just drop an inch of pitch on the Fury. There is reason for the four blade with a heavy load.
