Replacing carpet for Triton Tr20hp 2008

I'd like to use 24oz carpet but am afraid the lids won't get properly. I'm looking for a great quality carpet that will stand up to the elements but fit the existing lids. Best source?

    Thanks!

I put 20 oz in them, snug fit but not hard to open, add padding to the front deck and you're good to go. I've been using Sparta carpet for years, 110's of yard with no problems. I was given some lancer carpet to put in a boat, and it's cheap.

I’d like to use the BassCat 24oz but I’ve heard the lids do not fit right afterwards and are too thick.

you own a bullet. Ever put carpet in a tritanic? Go with 20, 24 you will need a crowbar to get the lids open.

Yes sir...it’s been put in several brands of boats for customers. Lids may be tight but the carpet is fantastic !! After a while the carpet of the lids mash down and the lids ease up a bit.

Basscat is 24oz and ranger is 24oz but it thinner for some reason. Anyway. I just finished my triton and the lids are a little tough to open but will break in over time.

Oh and ranger is about 150.00 cheaper.

g352nv, great job. It is so good it defies gravity. I used the Ranger carpet and love it. My lids are no tighter than they were to start with. The carpet is much nicer that what came in my Stratos.

I bought 24oz from bass boatseats.com. It worked out great. Lids are tight but not too tight.E5C03297-9D52-4277-818F-13EE6400049D.jpegEE27CCD8-2F67-4359-BDC6-BEBBB22A922E.jpeg
