Anyone know a dealer in Richmond that sells DFI oil from bulk out of the drum?
the price is getting ridiculous and my '17 250 pro xs consumes it like a drunken sailor.
I buy it in the 3 one gallon packs from Amazon now for $109.00

Good luck... I used to get it from Sanderson but now that Richmond marine moved in they do not sell bulk oil. I agree with you oil is getting ridiculous. I have a funny feeling it is going to get worse due to the 4 strokes.

Check with Robert Patterson (Robbie). He is on Facebook. He was in same bldg as Sanderson, but now has his place in Hopewell.
If I can get myself together and remember the name of his business, I will post. He may see this, as he is also here on BBC.
I run premium plus and use Don's cocktail. Never had issues with carbon buildup. I haven't run Opti DFI oil since I got rid of my last Opti in 2007. That was an '02 std model and aggravating POS as well.
I run Mercury blend from Walmart,$22.50 per gallon last I bought.Too me the DFI is over rated. 2014 250 pro xs
I have gotten in the past from Tommaund Marine on RT 5 at the Chick Bridge

Robbie sells it in a gallon or 2.5 gallon sealed containers.
Best place to get oil is Sturgeon Creek Marina. They offer discount for buy by the case. Buy mine there every spring.
Just use premium plus.
