    Squarebill Blank Suggestions

Looking for some suggestions on a good squarebill blank. Right now I am leaning towards a Rainshadow Immortal Inshore 7' MH MF IMMP70MH-TC. https://getbitoutdoors.com/rainshadow-immp70mh-tc

I think that is an excellent choice. I have that same blank, and it makes for a great treble hook stick. Lighter or mid size squarebills?

Popping blanks make great crankbait blanks. I've never built on that particular one but have built a ton of rods on popping blanks for crankbaits for guys who prefer graphite over glass. I like glass myself.

I definitely prefer graphite over glass personally. Hog midsize and smaller, most would be in the 1.5 profile or 1. I do use the occasional 2.5 thats why i was leaning toward the MH.

The American Tackle Bushido blanks (CB) models are hard to beat. Straight, durable and great actions.

Popping blanks are great for squares imo. A slight bit faster than a typical CB blank. Can manipulate and bounce em through the rocks, deflect, somewhat quicker recovery. Still has a nice, deep flex under load. The medium might also work, but better in open water.
