Four days on Stick Marsh in the RT 188

This boat with a 1154S simply sips fuel. We ran from one end of Stick Marsh to the other for four days on 9 gallons of fuel. Sometimes I think they are amazing little boats.

Thanks to Panama for letting me know water levels and fishing info before the trip! The RT was fantastic in all the stumps down there. We watched a few glitter sleds get hung up and take a while with the big motor to get off them. I think I had to fire up the big motor one time in four days to get off a stump. If you’ve never been there think one great big shallow stump field LOL.

Stick Marsh is a lot different than it was in the mid 80's. It was nothing but a dirt road in and dirt ramp to launch. The fishing was 100% better as well. You could stand on the dike, where the drainage pipe is between the Marsh and farm 13, and catch fish till your arms could not take it anymore.
