Mercury 150 4 stroke battery recommendation

    Mercury manual requires 1000mca,800cca,180ah
I need to replace my starting battery this spring ,I have read on BBC about the Sam’s club Duracell AGM 31DTMAGM rated at 1000CA,800cca,200ah. Would this battery be ok ? The Mercury manual doesn’t specify what kind of battery. I run 1 Garmin 93sv with Panoptix and a Helix 9 off of my starting battery as well . I don’t really have room to add a second battery so I’m trying to get the best battery for my situation. What do most of you run ?
    thanks .......

Double check manual language, I believe it says "minimum required" 800CCA (disregard MCA and ah). For fishing applications Don highly recommends 950 - 975CCA.

I don't know what the Duracell goes for, no Sam's Clubs where I live. Saw prices on the web of around $250. For another $150 you can get either the Northstar (what I have) or Odyssey 31AGM both with 48mo full replacement and 1150CCA.

You can utilize a traditional cranking battery or an AGM. I would strongly recommend WELL above the "minimum" in any fishing application. Don't even consider something below 950 cca.

What about a Ionic 12v 100ah lithium as a cranking battery.

See the absolute BARE MINIMUM specs you listed in Post# 1. ^^^ Well below the bare minimum for engine-alone.
