What’s the trick to stop it from vibrating so aggressively on the interstate? Only an inch or so of adjustability up and down on the winch post so I’m not sure that will help. I’m considering mounting it to the actual trailer frame instead of the winch post to see if that helps. Any suggestions?
I’ve read before where guys determined a loose bolt or cracked weld. My 16 didn’t vibrate and neither does my 19.
This may sound crazy, but I balanced the trailer wheels/tires and mine is almost motionless now.

Mine is a ‘19 z20 and it’s been like this from day one. 2 U-bolts and four 13mm lock nuts is all that holds the whole assembly. I removed it from the trailer for now but I’m sure I’ll put it back on eventually bc I grew to like it a lot.
Mine doesn’t do it too bad but another guy told me his did and he filled his with dry sand. Said it took care of his vibration.

Not crazy at all. Absolutely the right decision. A good set of tires, properly balanced. Also have them check for rim run-out. Often those Chinese manufactured rims can wobble.Originally Posted by TXZ21

Mine shakes but I ignore it. I do notice it when I glance back in the rear view mirror at times.
I was complaining about it too...then my co-angler just turned up the stereo!
Mine shakes, not a big deal. I don't even think about it.

Mine would shake terribly. I had my trailer tires balanced and it took out 90% of the wobble. 2019 z20

Has anybody tried putting a piece of rubber gasket material between the step bracket and the mounting post?
I am going to look around the garage tomorrow.

I always go to a tire shop and have them remove the balance beads they use from the factory and have the tires road force balanced. You'd be surprised how much difference it makes.
