I have a couple of their spinning rods that family members use and no complaints here. I do have four of the older Limited Edition Berkely rods from back in the early 90's the were good rods.

My son has 5 or 6 of the spinning rods and I use them for walleye. Nice poles.

Still have a 6' ML spinning rod from 40 plus years ago. It is the only rod I still use from that era. Has caught a ton of fish from sunnies to pickerel to bass.

Good rod for the money. I use one sometimes, nice and light with good feel. Minor complaint if I throw it most of the day, the hard plastic on the reel seat rubs a blister on my finger. It's just an oddity on the way that I palm the reel. Still use one though.

The new spinning rods are really nice. I have several now that have replaced rods that cost 4 times as much.

I have no complaints. Actually stopped buying more expensive spinning rods bc I like the lightning rods better. They are light, and just feel good to me. If u break a tip off no big deal buy another. I do not like the lightning rod shocks. Couldn't give me one of those, but the regular one I think is great..

Been a fan of them for a budget rod. When I travel, I have 2 of them I take with me. They do their job quite well.
Been fishin' since I was 5 years old...Thanks Grandpa!

$29.99 at the BPS Spring Sale next month ... just sayin'.

For those of you who might be thinking about sneaking in to buy one, you might want to pick up a set of these so nobody can shame you. Send $59.99 (cash) in a plain envelope to Bilgerat Industries Incognito Disguise Offer, P.O. box OU812 New Jersey

I'm old enough to remember when the Lightning was first introduced. I
think they were 39.95 back in the day. That was a high priced rod in its time.

I have had several over the years never had a problem with any of them....Gave some of my original ones with foam handles to a youth fishing foundation 8 years ago and they are still being used.....Still fish with some of the newer models that went to cork handles.
