    188vx 36v battery placement

    2004 188vx

I’m looking to upgrade from a 24v to a 36v trolling motor. I was wondering if anyone with the same or similar boat has photos of how their batteries are arranged?

Is it possible to move them to where the spare prop area is?

If yours still has the plastic board over the center bilge, you can fit a battery there. If not,cut a cutting board to fit the space.

I run a 36v in my Z-118; I also ran a 36v in the Triton™ 18X2 I traded in on the Ranger™ even have the Unihorn (single Power-Pole™) motor tucked in back there..

Thanks everyone, I got the battery mounted up & the boat rigged!

First trip out & my brand new Ultrex cable snapped & damn near sent me swimming lol.

Just ordered a TH Marine replacement.

With the BBT three battery tray, you might be able to put all three on one side. I did it on my Z520c. I would call BBT.
