    2014 z9 w/ 250 proxs

What could I'll realistically expect from this boat top end. It's got a 36v ultrex and 2- 8' talons.
From what I've read it's a 70mph boat empty? Current owner showed me a video of it topping out at 64mph. Is this all it's got? He said its running a 25p 3blade prop. I didn't ask any more details.

Kvd got 64 mph but he had way to much stuff including extra trolling motor in the front rod locker. I have a z8 and it's a 69-73 boat from over full on fuel/ water and 3 people to dry and just me, I know the z9 should run 68-70 it's only 8" longer than my z8,

load heavier gear in the rear only light stuff up front. When looking at this particular boat I would bring a straight edge that is like 8' long and put under the hull looking for any bow or hump, 8' 2x4 just has to be straight.

Also my boat will only do 45 mph full throttle if I don't trim up, many many variables, including the motor could be to high

The 2013 I owned ran 73.7 empty with between 1/2 and 1/4 tank of gas. Tournament load with 2 people was 68-70 depending on water conditions and other variables. Boat did not have power poles, while it was not a speed demon it handled rough water very well and was extremely stable at WOT. From as fishing standpoint it is one of the best platforms I have fished from. Good luck with your decision!

I have a 2014 Z-9 without the power poles. 70 is about it with another person and gear and half tank of gas. I'd say if it's just you, no gear, and a 1/4 of a tank you may have a chance.

With Talons and four batteries, I’d say he’s probably dead on. Most people exaggerate their numbers a lot. There’s too many factors that determine a boats speed that you really can’t just say my boat runs xx MPH.

I could get 70 on mine 2014 z9 with power poles on a good day. 2 people was 67-68. I did not have the extra weight of the ultrex tho, and the bulk, Imagine adding that would be a speed loos of at least 1 mph.
