I picked up a brand new 9 ratio Zillion SV TW for $150 a month or so back from Facebook marketplace (MSRP $299, but discontinued). Guy had it listed as a "regular" SV TWS 8:1, but the photos showed otherwise. I confirmed that it was the reel in the photo, and went to pick it up. Felt a little bad, but he seemed like he was all there, drove a nice vehicle, and I figured it wasn't my fault he didn't do the research on what he had. Half of MSRP isn't unconscionable anyhow. I think that's probably the best one I can think of offhand!

Walmart used to run some real deals on clearance guns. Back when 22LR ammo was scarce, an old retired guy is a good friend of mine. He would hang out there every morning. 1-2 days a week the 22 would come in and he would buy all or most. He would also call me, "they are getting ready to bring out some marked down guns". I was lucky enough that I could leave work and be there in 15 minutes. Not much better than 75% off! Old guy made sure local scouts had plenty of 22's for ranges days. Nice old guy.

I always wait till companies come out with the new version of something and they discount the current version heavily. sometimes as much as 60-75%.
On that pawn shop note, I can't get myself to do it. Because I know its a 99% probably that some poor fisherman got that stolen from his boat from a crack head.
I bought a boat, fished out of it for a year and used up the last year of engine warranty. Sold it just over a year later for $7500 more than i paid for it. Id say that was a good deal

Our local “Amish Walmart “ had a shipment of 52 skids of Bass Pro merchandise . They had a ton on 100mph and a few 200mph bibs and jackets. I was buying everyone they had in acceptable shape( half brand new with tags) for 30$ a piece . Needless to say me and the wife have 7 full sets and sold the rest to the locals !
