What’s your go to bait on a tough day when you need a bite? Like when you have 4 in the well and need #5 and the bite slows?
For me it’s a spinnerbait.

Shakeyhead. All day everyday
They aint got hands, set the hook
If just going for a keeper it would be a wacky rigged worm on a very light jig head or ned. Spinnerbait is probably the last thing I would throw but that is just me.
Ditto this. I’m thinking reverse order of the OP statement. Moving baits in the beginning of the day, to get numbers of active fish while they are still active. Finesse-style drop baits placed into spot-on-the-spot locations later in the day to coax another bite from fish that have become wary from angler pressure. Doesn’t necessarily mean that I would sit there and soak it, but try to hit as many high-yield locations as I can in the time I have remaining with a bait they can’t resist.

Flick Shake or Ned rig. Spinnerbait would be third choice just because I enjoy using them.
Red Sox in 6!
Ned Rig. In two years it hasn’t failed me yet to at least catch me fish when I needed my 5 fish limit. They might not be big ones but Then I can start seeking out the bigger ones knowing I have a limit in the live well.
Crankbait or a jig and pig

Drop shot for sure. It's my primary technique when I'm sight fishing.
Pretty much a tube for me but a shakyhead is a close 2nd
I would have to say a neko rig and then a jig

Ned rig or Senko.
Shaky head, neko rig or ned rig.
Depends on the time of year
but a Jig is my most confident bait.
If I want to catch a small one some sort of worm (drop shot, shakey head, senko)
I'm still 15 years behind...............tube
3/8 oz black GRT jig with skirt trimmed finesse style with a GP tiny rage chunk. Nice compact craw they can’t resist
Way too vague. It would depend on lake and conditions.
Drop shot, ned rig, wacky worm.
