Presuming you are using a Chromecast stick...

    Download the Google Home App.

Install and open Google Home while YouTube TV is casting. Your TVs on your wifi network will appear.

Click on the TV you are casting to.

Click the Settings wheel at upper right

In the "Display " section, toggle the "use 50hz HDMI display mode"

Waalaa...your audio should now be in sync.

Heck, I had this happen last nite just on regular DIRECTV channel. Was flipping through the channels and stopped briefly on a 2015 remake of the movie Point Break and the sound was considerably out of sync with the video, so I moved on.

I've had this problem with youtube, Netflix, amazon... It generally fixes itself after a few minutes. I thought it may be because we have a soundbar , so I changed the sound back to.the tv speakers and the problem still existed.

I do have an additional soundbar hooked up, but have had it on there a year or more and never had the issue before.

Do you have multiple TV's? If so, could you test them both (One Sling, One YouTubeTV at the same time)?

Just guessing that your TV is not the issue since Sling works fine. Betting this problem originates at the source (YouTube TV side). Could possibly be the version of the YouTube app you are using
Your internal network (wifi) and TV don't know the difference between Sling or YouTube. It's just data.

If you are using a Bluetooth speaker for your tv, unplug or disconnect it for 5 minutes.
