    225/250 COWLING

Will older model 225/250 cowlings ( say 02-05) fit on the newer model 225/250's? say 2016 model?

Mercury doesn't use "years"... so that can be a bit tricky, especially in the lower end of that range. Serial number is the only accurate identifier (and is required).

July 1, 2002 build date and later should certainly fit. Prior to that there was a slight different at the front.

Stick with plastic version if at all possible... although they would be earlier decals, I probably have a couple cowlings here if you're ever up this way.

definitely willing to pay for the part and shipping. I got scammed a few weeks ago and luckily my bank refunded me my money.

Drop me an email and let me know what serial number you're working with, I'll check what I have here and get back to you.

Cowlings are absolutely CRAZY to ship. Would rather ship an engine!
