Weedless fluke
A lot of the ponds I fished years ago had grass. Number one bait was a snagless sally. If fishing ponds now I would think a senko would be hard to beat.
Buzzbait. Pond fish are usually pretty uneducated, so I'm throwing the bait that will get me the best bites!
If it's tougher, a Senko, fluke, or weightless Trick Worm always seems to work.

If it's fairly open, I throw a drop shot with a 4" zman trick worm in PB&J, on a Lews UltraLight spinning rig. Looks exactly like a night crawler in the water. Usually will have a fish swimming off with it before you get the slack out. If it's got lots of grass and pads I throw my hand poured jerk worms. Fished a buddies pond Thursday and caught 25 bass, 2 crappie and a goggleye on the jerk worm. Fished my pond Friday and caught 18 bass on the drop shot.
This joker was just pretty!
Nice video too btw...
