    Squarebill/Shallow crank

If you had to pick one to throw for the rest of your life what would it be? Has to be both cheap <6$ and effective for all water temps. I am about the pair down my tackle and want to see what everyone's opinion on this is. I am initially thinking Academy's H20 or KVD 1.5s. This may be my only options in that price range.

At that price point, a KVD 1.5 would be it for me. Though if you gave me a little bit more leeway on cost and are focused more on shallow crankbaits than squarebills specifically, I might say a DT6

Just one? I would go with the KVD 1.5 series.
I may change my mind this coming spring. I have invested in the Bandit, Spros and Rapla brat series I'll give them a shot with the 1.5.

For a shallow crank and or square bill in that price range I’d go with the H2O or a Rapala DT4. For some reason I have a hell of a problem hanging up the KVD 1.5. Done much better with the other two I mentioned and the old Excalibur and LC RC 1.5s

Bandit or pico. Bandit for the color selection, pico has a really limited color selection and use an extremely light wire hook that I recommend to upgrade but the action is superb.

Agreed. I would say the KVD1.5 but half of them out of the package don't run true. I now use 6th sense Crush 50x but a couple bucks more.

Another vote for the Lucky Craft 1.5, $1 more then the kvd with better hooks that don’t need to be changed out and far better finishes.
