    Sabre Set Up

I'm almost done restoring an '89 Sabre, motor is a 92 150 XR6 hanging on a 6" Bobs. It should be water ready by late April. Boat is going to be lighter than usual as oil inject has been removed, I'm running lithiums and my charger won't be on-board. The only prop I currently have is a 25 Hi5. Do you think it's even worth giving the Hi5 a spin or should I find myself a 23 Tempest to start out and go from there?

Get the tempest or Yamaha M prop. You want that motor to be at 5,700 rpms WFO, go past it, and your horsepower will fall off the table. Funny port timing in the XR6, it'll only go so far and it's done.
