    home made bracket for garmin 102 and 126 on crestliner vt 18

    i picked up a pc of 1/4 thick aluminum plate at local metal fabricator from his scrap no charge, made a pattern from my existing panel fabed all the holes and used the bracket that came with 106 picked up paint at lowes 6.00 they wanted 300.00 dollars to fab one. this would work on most boats. rock solid003.JPG004.JPG005.JPG006.JPG

    Great idea and a nice job. I messed up the fake plastic carbon fiber piece and the dealer could never get me a new one. Crestliner says you can flush mount a 9" sounder there but my 9" Helix was way to big. I put my Garmin 93 there but it will not share with tge GPSMap on the bow so bought a 9" GPSMap. I like the way you did yours and your plate looks like it came with the boat.
