    SHO oil pressure range.

I just completed going all digital on engine info monitoring with the new addition of a water pressure sensor. When setting up the Lowrance HDS info screen I had to do a reset and the oil pressure came back set to 0-1200. I manually reconfigured it to read 0-80 with high at 60. I have tried to find the oil pressure range and come up with zilch. Wile the gauge is function with the needle moving, I was wondering what the proper range would be. It is interesting to see the water pressure at idle at 2.87psi and go to over 21psi at WOT.

    thanks,fes

The is no specification for high oil pressure. Only low oil pressure.

And this number would be? Maybe I wasn't clear when I asked for the range but I am looking for the numbers to set the gauge to. Is 0-80 too high, too low? Do I need to change it to 0-70 or 2-94?

i would set it up to run from 0-110 .. mine runs a litte over 100 when its cold running over 5500 rpm now when the motor warms up the oil pressure will drop down too 67 to 88 psi at a idle as low as 18 to 20 psi

Awesome! Thank you. I could not find this info anywhere not even in the service manual.
