Echomap Ultra and Plus network transducer

I just ordered a 106SV with the UHD transducer. If I network this 106SV with my existing 93sv, will I be able to see the UHD side images from the 106 on the 93sv? I know that the screen resolution on the 93sv won't be as good, but will the 93sv be able to benefit from the 106sv Ultra's 1200khz sidevu setting? I've heard that the 106sv is processing the data from its transducer and just sending an "image feed" over the network to the other units. They are networked with a GSM 10 network hub.

Yes, you can view UHD on your 93 across the network. As long as your UHD transducer is plugged into the 106.

yep just installed my 106 yesterday had a 73cv beside it turned on cv unit and found that i can read 1200 side on it also

That's what I thought but I'm still using non-Chirp and Chirp units. I'll graduate one day.

106SV has two network ports, why do we still need a Hub Please?
