Can you use an AGM starting battery on a 40 HP 4/stroke?

Your 115 uses an alternator charging system the 40 hp uses a stator system

I used an AGM battery on a 2005 60 4-stroke for over 7 years with no issues.

Strongly recommend a WET-CELL, Cranking Battery for this engine's charging system (Stator-type).
