Lowrance Carbon 18.3 Update Needed

see post #4. I couldn't open it on a tablet, but when I followed the link on a computer it worked and let me download them. If I remember correctly, there were several versions there. It was active a few weeks ago.

It seems everyday somebody is asking about software versions. I use the latest 19.1 for my Carbon and everything works fine. Carbon 12, Live 9, and Structure 3D. What am I missing here?

I may just be paranoid but I have seen a bunch of posts where 19.... has made the images on SS3D much worse post 18.3. That's not a risk I am willing to take. I don't get the chance to fish as much as some people and I don't want to have to spend my fishing time running back and forth to the lake testing SW versions.

19.1 affects the image from the 3D ducer and also can cause the DI to skip on screen.

Thank you very much for doing this. Now I just need figure out where to start. I have the 18.3 for the SS3D so I think I am going to load it then start with the lowest revision of the 18.3 to start and see how it looks. At least now if one doesn't work I have options!

As long as it's a good kind of lucky..mine is usually the bad kind of lucky when it comes to Lowrance electronics and I have owned and used ever Gen in the HDS line except the Live.

I believe .123 was the version that had issues with waypoint sharing. .133 was supposed to fix this. .155 has more enhancements for active imaging and seems to make the SS3D images a bit more fuzzy. I just put all my units on .133 and will see how it looks.

This is only version I have for the SS3D. (StructureScan3D-18.3-61.1.123-Standard-1.riw) I have all 3 of the 18.3 versions for the Carbon unit itself though.
