I dont know about best price but check with Don. He's a long time board sponsor and Merc guy. He's a 1 stop shop and will make sure you have all parts needed.

I got mine for about $180 off of Amazon. Called a few dealers and everyone wanted $200/$225.
Excellent addition to any Merc engine though. Given that they literally come from the factory ready to be plugged in, kind of stupid they aren't just a stock feature at this point

Keep checking Mercury Marine website. I got mine for $145 last year....contacted Rhonda at European Marine (prefer to buy parts from them) and she told me to snap it up at that price....it was better than the price Mercury offered to them.

I'm interested as well. Sim Mercury has it for $175, but I have never heard of them before. https://www.simmercury.com/Vessel_Vi.../8m0115080.htm

$150 from Mercury. They do promotions on it all the time. Just have to keep your eyes open.

No, but it is cheaper than buying a NMEA2K engine gateway and network.

It would be nice if Garmin/HB/Lowrance would make their units connect to the vessel view mobile. It's just a bluetooth connection that they already have.

Well, after reading all the post and emailing Mercury to see if there was any plans to put them on sale (which they said no), I purchased one for 225.00 from a local dealer. What that means for the rest of you is since I did this, they will probably go on sale somewhere cheap because that's my luck. So....you're welcome. LOL

Trevor SIM is one of the best places to get your Mercury parts on-line. I get all my oil/fuel filters and spares from them. Check there prices against any dealer. Oil is the only thing that's not cheaper due to shipping.

Got mine from European Marine with a BBC discount code. It's saved me once so far, maybe twice. Clued me in to a bad cranking battery and showed a misadjusted TPS from the factory.

I actually ordered one last night from there. With free shipping and no tax it seemed like a pretty good deal. The invoice looked very well done and your reply makes it even better. Thanks for the advice!
