Generator fir charging batteries
Dont know where to post this but has anyone used a portable gas generator to charge batteries? Going to a hotel in a few weeks and think charging might be an issue. If I can bring my portable gas generator then I will be good to go. I dont want to damage anything but need to have my batteries charged in case I dont get a good parking spot

God I feel sorry for all the hotel guests around you.
An inverter generator would be best. Honda eu2000. Noninvertor are not really “clean” power . Not sure how durable the chargers would be without an invertor

Thank you, I might try it at the house before I go. This would definitely be a last resort. The hotel said they were boat friendly but I have been told that before and had a rough time getting power

My buddy tows with one running on the deck if he has back to back events . Most invertor generators are very quiet

I have a jump box inverter I have used in the past just for a quick top off and it did fine but I dont think it can bring everything back. I wanted to make sure it wouldn't damage/spike electricity somehow and it sounds like I'll be good to go if I need it. I hope to not need anything and have a good room with electricity close by but am planning on having a decent plan B
