Another post for the area. I’ll be moving to Knoxville next month and would like to join a local club. I travel a lot for work so won’t be able to fish every tournament but should be able to fish most when I’m
not working. What’s some local clubs that have a decent turn out and won’t break the bank on entry fees?

Think USA Bassin and Heartland have trails in the Knoxville area. Moving from Wisconsin, we seldom have hard water here in the winter. There are a lot of winter trails also. Some great smallmouth to be had in East Tennessee.
There are a number of tournaments out of Watts Bar and Melton Hill that seem to go on two or three nights a week.
You might join the Melton Hill Facebook page. They are constantly announcing tournaments and winners there. I'll bet every local lake has some sort of FB presence.
FB is NOT only for checking up on your kids.
There has been a Monday, Tuesday, and a Thursday nighter going out every week around five. Believe they all start in April.
