    ox66 fuel rail 10mm bolts torque

    hey guys i have a question. im sending my injectors to brucato to have them cleaned. my question is when i get them back and install them what should i torque them 4 10mm bolts to? i dont have a manual. the motor is a 2000 - 200 vmax ox66.

    I just snugged mine in with a 1/4" drive ratchet, basically what it required to pull them. Head bolts and internal components are the only thing I torque besides the flywheel nut and intake assy. The closest I can find is 5.1lb with a 6x40 bolt in my manual. CJ

    Because of the very light torque values, you probably need to use an inch pound torque wrench. Most ft.lb. torque wrenches don't work very well below 25 ft.lb. or so. On my Yamaha VZ225, those are sealed with an o-ring rather than a gasket which means that super accurate torque rate is not as important. They just need to be tightened good and snug. 50 or 60 inch pounds ain't much.
