    $34.96 for AMSOIL is what I think My cost was. Someone said they were paying $44.00 for the XD100

    I've been using Pennzoil for 20 yrs with no problems. Motor has 750 hrs. on it and still going strong. I did switch to Pennzoil XLF when it reached 300 hrs.
    It's also cheaper.

    Retail prices are pretty similar. I guess if you're a dealer then its a bit cheaper. Also if still under warranty Evinrude has no authorized substitute for XD100 if that what your motor is set for.

    I use the XD100 because I idle around alot and it's suppose to help with carbon buildup. I'm sure any good oil will work so just use what you can afford or have trust in.....
