Pulled the trigger on a new 21PHX yesterday

After going from Rangers into a Phoenix 21 PHX for a year, I pulled the trigger on a custom order ‘20 21 PHX. Spent the morning with Richie at Wiedas Marine going over all the options for the new boat. Couldn’t be happier with the Phoenix ride over my numerous old Rangers! Ordered same colors as 721 in ‘19 catalogue (Silver, black, orange) with Merc 250 4-stroke. Papers signed, deposit made & now the 8-10 week wait begins!

Good deal on trade ... hummmmmm. Richie still has his job and neither of us have any broken or bleeding parts! A good deal is one where both parties walk away thinking they did well, so yes! I love dealing with Richie and Sean!

I gave them the opportunity last spring. The person I talked to didn’t seem to care that I was even looking at flagship boat. When Told I wanted to trade my custom ‘17 beautiful blue and silver Ranger Z520C, he responded that he “couldn’t give a Ranger away.” Not the response I was looking for, to say the least.

Next day went to Wiedas, traded my Ranger and bought a $79k 21PHX. My Ranger, that HCT “couldn’t give away” sold in one week! Owner called me from HCT sometime later & I told him the story. He said he would investigate & correct issue. Of course he was apologetic, but I am a loyal buyer. 4 trucks from same dealer, Boats same way, all seven or eight of them!

The bottom line is I was treated well by Richie Young & Sean Wieda ... and I will drive 2.5 hours to patronize them because they cared about my business. Rudy was great at Dixie, but my back can’t take the Ranger ride anymore. I can’t describe the ride of a PHX over the Ranger!

You asked & that’s my story. I won’t sugar-coat the reason why my money goes to Wiedas! Never have, never will. End of rant

Richie is the man! Great guy to work with and tons of knowledge about not just Phoenix, but bass boats in general. Sean and his entire team are great folks to deal with.

Had a similar experience on trading a Triton with a dealer value was a insult ended up call Weidas and Robbie helped me out gave me what I wanted for the trade and told me to fish it till it came in value would not change! I ended up selling out right got a couple extra $$$ out of it. Wiedas was great to deal with I drove from KS to Weidas to do the deal. Sean and whole crew made my experience great. I would do it again the local dealer here that I had issues with the sales side has a great service department and they are the only ones who have turned a wrench on my motor. When I buy another one I will give them another shot because of my experience with he service group. If the deal is no good I will make that drive to Weidas again without hesitation!
