Pretty much just an FYI, was having a passenger console installed on my 2020 ZX200 this week and we have been getting torrential rains all week. Turns out good thing we were because the tech just called asking me if they can have my boat for a few more days in order to reseal the entire front deck!! Says they have to take out about 50 bolts and apply an epoxy to create a proper seal. Apparently they use some sort of sticky foam from the factory that he's had to replace a few times now (including a FX a few weeks ago).
I have the seals Palaniuk added to his boat, so the water was not getting in around the lids. Was going between the hull and deck. Missing first big tourney of the year, but glad they caught it when they did. I would have never even thought of bringing it to them for water in compartments. It has been a small issue for me, but just assumed it was par for the course.
Anways, just a public service announcement. If you have wet compartments you may be able to have them do the same.
