    Convert from hotfoot back to hand throttle?

    I have a 2014 Puma FTD with a factory installed hotfoot and Merc 250 ProXS. My question for BCB, is everything already in place in the boat already to go back to hand throttle? Need to purchase anything? Thanks Dave

    Pop the motor cowling and look for another throttle cable laying in the bottom on the port side. My 2016 Cougar had the extra one. My 2017 Sabre does not.

    Thanks, I'll take a look. If it's there, disconnect the hotfoot cable and connect the other cable? Check throw and good to go?

    I have a 2018 Eyra and i could not stand the hot foot. All i had to do is unhook the hot foot and move the cable back to the hand control. I had to move some extra cable back in the bilge.
