Was dead set on purchasing this power pole light until I read the reviews on Tackle Warehouse. Every review said theirs went bad within a year. Any feedback from guys here? Are they really that bad?

I have one and havent had any issues
never had a issue with the old style.. They have been redesigned with a new led light can only imagine that is even better as we all know led lights last almost forever. Go direct to the source call Justin at RMP.

I had one for 3ish years and zero problems and know a bunch of guys that have them and never seen any bad ones and if something does happen u can call them and they will take care of it...great company to deal with

Can someone please measure how much the light sticks up above the power pole.
I really want to put one of these on my boat but I don't have much clearance over the power pole, and I can't seem to find anywhere that says how much it adds above the powerpole

About 2 1/2 in on my poles, I have Pro series. The only problem I’ve had with mine is, one of the wires got pinched but I think it was more my fault.

Mine lasted less than a year and then started flashing. Good luck trying to reach someone at RM. They do not respond to emails and its tough waiting on hold for > 20 minutes during the work day.
Mine also started flashing and occasionally cutting completely off after a year. Been waitin 2 weeks on a replacement bulb from RM.
Had mine for 1.5 years - no issues. I have called them several times for other things. They always seem to answer. Same with facebook messenger.
