Has anyone installed the PP Charge on their newer Ranger? I'm curious to know how they wired the master power cut off switch with the battery jump option? The Charge has the capability of jumping a dead cranking battery off the TM batteries.

Doesn’t your jump start switch do the same thing?

I didn't see anything that directly mentions what people are doing with their jump start switch. I just want to make sure there is no potential for damage to the charger in the event the jump switch gets used on a dead battery.

Bump! Any ideas? I am fix'in to install a charge unit.
Power pole recommends that you disconnect the second battery jump switch. You will not need it with the charge as it has it's own jump feature.

I have an unrelated charge question. I installed one this winter and have had it out once. On the app, it always says "emergency start unavailable" or some such. Is that just because my cranking battery isn't dead? I'd feel better if I knew that functionality was working properly.
