    2001 Ranger 520VX what prop?

I have a 2001 Ranger 520VX with a 2011, 225 Proxs and a Atlas hydraulic jack plate. I am currently running a 3 blade 25 pitch Tempest plus prop. I was curious what would be the best all around prop for my set-up. With the current prop and 2 adults I feel it should pop out of the water a little quicker. Thank you in advance.

I had a 2005 520svx 225-optimax for years (and miss it 60% of the time I am in my 521c) best prop for me was a 24P 4 blade fury hands down and I ran a number of them til it came out.

What kind of top end did you see with the fury 4?

How many number of holes would you leave open on the fury 4 prop? There is a total of 8 for the exhaust.

My last setup before I threw a blade on my 2002 Ranger 520vx with 2015 ProXS 225, 4” Atlas, Lithiums and a 24p Fury 4 netted me 68-69 and 67 full tourney. Hole shot was hands down the best under any load. Now I’m running a Croxton 24p Razor XL (67mph tops and tourney load 65mph) and its just alright. Hole shot is so so compared to the Fury 4 and I’m sure that has to do with prop diameter. It also doesn’t power load at all.
Lastly, run all 8 plugs open on both setups for best results.
