will a 93 plus read a gt54 transducer

i am planning on putting a 106sv on console and have a 93sv plus on front now will my 93 plus read the gt54 transducer or will i have to leave my gt52 on the boat, these will be networked

My understanding is this is the same ducer as in the Force. If that is true, it WILL read it you just won't receive UHD frequencies but I'll digress to smarter guys than myself lol.

Yes, it will read the GT54. You will NOT get the HD 1200khz frequency on side vu but will get 455kHz on side and 840kHz on clear vu. The clear vu @ 840 is a BIG improvement over the GT52.

Do you know if it will work with the gvc20 in place of the gt34?

GCV20 is the UHD box. You need the GT34 to go with it for UHD amd it will give you the UHD frequencies....Beware that the GT34 does not have 455 or 2d sonar.

I have the UHD system already but i thought the gt54 does have the 2d that I presently don"t have with the gt34.

GT54 does have the 2d. Maybe i dont understand what you are asking.

i was looking at going with the gvc20 until i found out that it will not work with gt54 ,so i ordered a 106sv and my 93plus will read it except you want have the uhd frecquency and only 455 on side scan , that workes better for me i am going to mount the gt52 on trolling motor so if i want i can use it on front, probably want use it much i use live scope most of time on front

If your GT54 is plugged into the 106SV(and they are networked), your 93 will display everything from the GT54.
