Info on pouring my own big paddle tail swimbaits

I have a few big 7-9" paddle tail swimbaits made years ago by a small pourer who only gave them to friends. I want to pour my own using the ones I have as a master. Where is a good place, or book to buy to make the molds mixing the plastic ect? Never poured before.

Do you have a picture of bait? Maybe find a mold for it. StankX and Lurecraft have silicone molds

Ask questions on tackleunderground in the soft plastics forum. There's also a good list of mold makers & suppliers there too. Custombaitsforum.com is the do-it molds forum & there are some good lure makers there too that will answer questions. If you inject instead of hand pouring don't skimp & buy a good american made injector to start with like the basstackle.com, jacobs mold & machine, do-it molds & baitplastics.com sales one from quality injector too. I have both a single & a twinjector from basstackle because they're the best on the market in my opinion.

I've made a ton of molds out of plaster to Paris. If I'm using a round bait as a template, I just trim the top side flat to make a better casting

Send one to Lurecraft and they will make a mold for you.

I have made a couple injection molds with the vac 50. Not as good as cnc, but works ok.

For open/hand pour, I have made many of molds using the 1 to 1 rtv silicone from micromark. Easiest to mix.

Alumilite works well also, just have to weigh it out at 10 to 1.

If that's the case then that's the route i'd go because they make plenty of them for sure.
