    Where does this go? 2.5 200efi

    I found this part laying the bottom cowl on a boat I just picked up. Where does this go? I find it on the parts diagram as a Check Valve Drain Assembly but I don't see where it goes.

    Rear corners of the lower cowl. It is a water drain check valve

    Glad you found the opening in the adapter plate.

    Just a note for future reference- your 2.5L engine is covered in the next forum down.

    That is the "High Performance" forum, which is why I posted here. So regular 2.5 EFI questions don't go in the regular Mercury forum?
