Changing trolling motor soon on 1999 Intim w/recessed foot well. Do the bolts that hold the mount have nuts below? Seems access is limited..only plate to remove it the little plug plate...what am I missing?

Remove it and stick your hand in.
Skinny arms is the tool.

I used a wrench and taped it to a piece of wood to reach in and hold the nut underneath. When I replaced, I epoxied nuts to fender washers.

My arms still itch...it was 2 years ago I did not mine.
