    Empty hole in dash

Please give me ideas on what I can use to fill a hole in my Ranger 491 Dash...There was a Lowrance Flasher previously in the hole to give you an idea of the size.
Thank you for your time and ideas

I’m in the same boat but haven’t given it much thought because I’m busy with other things on the boat but I need to come up with something also. I’ll cut a circle out of something or use a sticker.

If you have / want speakers or a sound system in your boat, several companies make head units that are made to fill those hole. Otherwise, might not be a bad idea to stick another flasher in it? They have value still!

Thanks for the radio idea...A flasher is what is causing the problem. I have a working flasher in the boat now and someone is interested in buying it. I want to sell it to him, however, I need to come up with an idea to fill this hole before I take it out to sell

They make a simple blank plastic plug that pops into that hole. I took both old lowrance flashers out of my 97' Champion 202 and put these in their place. The one up front in the bow I mounted my hummingbird gps puck on to the plug and it looks like it was "factory" mounted.

I found the plugs at a local marine parts/service here on Lake Conroe.

I use Starboard material cut to fit for voids in customers dashes unless they want an accessory as mentioned above.

Lowrance Flasher holes can be covered by 4" delrin sliced 1/8" two disk and samwich them together one behind dash and one in front. Did it on my Procraft, but I cut hole out for Humminbird Transducer switch. I think I have 2 more of these Black Delrin pieces

Make 2 aluminum plates at least half an inch larger than the hole, then put one on each side of the hole and screw together. The make a mount for later electronics. I did this with a rectangular hole but it works on the same principal. Have the aluminum powder coated to match. Shoot me a PM with a phone number and I can send a photo of what I did.

I deflated a small basketball, inserted it and re-inflated. Hoping it helps with holeshot.

I cut all the wires off my flasher, removed it, and wrapped it with 3M Carbon fiber vinyl. Then it fit right back in there
