    Chatterbait Trailers (Craw and Baitfish)

What are your favorite trailers? I am looking for trailers that do not create drag and allow the bait to maintain its vibration.

The 4 inch Zako was designed by Brett Hite for use as a trailer on the chatterbait.

My go to is a Zoom UV Speed Craw. I also like the Zako a lot.

Either a fluke or a razr shad is all I throw. Never used a craw on a chatterbait. I do on swimjigs though

Razor Shadz and twin tails (Zoom or Z-man, I pick Z-man for color selection and durability) for baitfish imitators. 21XDC turned me onto the Whopper Baits boxing craw as a craw trailer. Works great, and does not fight the action of the bait.

It does look like the owner of Whopper Baits, Bobby, is out of the business for the time being. I think he's just had some stuff come up to where he can't devote the same time to it as before. I bet he'd make you some if you got hold of him.

Zoom Split Tail spinnerbait trailers or other brands of a similar design is what I use 90% of the time because they do not inhibit a vibrating jig's vibration.
